I'm honored that voters have listened to my ideas and that they have overwhelmingly decided to give me the opportunity to represent them in Augusta. I love Portland because it has a strong sense of self and tradition, but voters here also value change, new leadership and new ideas.

I have pledged to be reliable and accountable. Mainers are struggling and I will help bring a new approach to the State Senate to solve problems. I will listen to you and act in your best interests. And I will report back.

I am humbled to have your support, and I look forward to working with you as we steer Maine in a new direction.
